THESSALY, Koinon of Thessaly. temp. Claudius. AD 41-54. Æ Assarion (18mm, 5.60 g, 2h). Antigonos, strategos. ΘEΣΣ-[A]ΛΩN, draped bust (Livia? Apollo?) right / ΣTPATHΓ ANTIΓON-OY, Artemis Ennodia running right, holding torch in each hand; monogram in right field. Burrer Em. 1, Series 5. 96 (A24/R81); RPC 1438 (same obv. die as illustration). Near VF, green patina; very rare.
